One Book One Independence 2018

Independence Public Library launched the community reading campaign, One Book One Independence (OBOI), two years ago and is looking forward to a third OBOI in 2018. Through reading, events, discussions, performances and exhibits; One Book One Independence built a sense of community and encourage relationships and reading. Orphan Train was the 2016 selection, and Arrowood by Laura McHugh was the 2017 featured title.

To have a 2018 One Book One Independence, the library needs to raise money. The library will be running a Give Me $5! Campaign between July 19 and August 2! You are welcome to donate money at the library or online. Checks need to be made out to the Independence Public Library Foundation.  $5 is a suggested amount, but multiples of that will gladly be accepted by the IPL Foundation.
